About the Role

This role focuses on driving sales for Delhiverys Express parcel services by acquiring new customers, managing key accounts, and ensuring consistent volume and revenue growth. The position requires strong field sales exposure, customer relationship management, and coordination with operations for smooth service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Client Acquisition

  • Identify, target, and onboard SMBs, mid-market clients, and regional brands with regular courier/express shipment needs.
  • Conduct client meetings, explain Express offerings, and close commercial discussions.
  • Drive territory revenue growth by adding new active customers every month.

2. Key Account Management

  • Manage existing accounts to ensure consistent shipment volumes.
  • Understand client needs, seasonality, pain points, and help optimize shipping routes.
  • Build strong relationships with logistics/purchase heads and decision-makers.

3. Coordination With Operations

  • Work closely with first-mile, hub, and last-mile teams to ensure service performance.
  • Help clients with escalations, tracking issues, and delivery exceptions.
  • Ensure SOP adherence for new accounts and smooth onboarding.

4. Revenue Growth & Target Achievement

  • Drive monthly shipment targets and revenue goals for assigned region/territory.
  • Increase wallet share from existing clients by pitching additional services.
  • Track performance metrics daily/weekly and ensure pipeline health.

5. Pricing & Commercial Discussions

  • Prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and finalize client commercials.
  • Coordinate with pricing and finance teams as needed.

6. Reporting & Market Feedback

  • Maintain MIS on leads, conversions, active accounts, and revenue.
  • Share weekly reports with RSM/ZSM.
  • Update competitors’ pricing, service gaps, and market trends.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong experience in Express/Courier/Last-Mile/E-commerce logistics sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue targets.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle high-volume accounts and fast-paced environments.
  • On-ground client handling and team coordination skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, CRM, and data-driven reporting.
