Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Core Java Developer with 3-7 years of experience to join our team. The role involves developing and enhancing listed derivatives applications, working with multi-tiered risk applications, and collaborating with global teams in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Core Java, Spring, databases, and distributed systems, along with exposure to front-office trading environments. Key Responsibilities: Develop and enhance listed derivatives applications. Build multi-tiered risk applications related to the core listed derivatives platform using Java and database technologies. Operate independently or within a team, taking on leadership or contributor roles as required. Write high-quality, secure, and efficient production code while reviewing code written by others. Implement CI/CD practices to enhance development efficiency. Interact with multiple upstream and downstream systems, understanding end-to-end trade flows. Work with a technology stack that includes multi-tiered enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring, and DB2. Collaborate with users across sales, trading, operations, and finance to implement innovative business ideas and improve platform efficiency. Engage in the full development lifecycle, ensuring continuous delivery of value to stakeholders. Work closely with global colleagues and technologists to enhance the platforms resiliency and scalability. Provide Level 3 support to platform users during regional hours. Required Technical Skills: Core Java In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Java 8+. Spring Framework Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data. Database Expertise Experience with DB2 or an alternative relational database and strong SQL knowledge. Distributed Systems & Caching Knowledge of distributed cache frameworks and distributed environments. Kafka Experience with event-driven architectures. Front-End Technologies Exposure to HTML5, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Scala & C# Experience with Scala, C#, or WPF is a plus. Financial Domain Expertise Experience in sales and trading platforms or middle-office trade processing systems in equities, FX, fixed income, or derivatives domains. Excel Proficiency Ability to work with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
