About the Role

Core Blockchain Developer

As a Core Blockchain Developer, you will be instrumental in shaping the architecture and capabilities of our blockchain network whether its a new L1 chain, a custom L2, or enhancements to an existing protocol.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop the core components of a blockchain protocol, including consensus, networking, data storage, and virtual machines.
  
• Implement and maintain peer-to-peer (P2P) networking layers.
  
• Develop and optimize consensus algorithms (e.g., PoW, PoS, DPoS, PBFT, etc.).
  
• Write performant, secure, and scalable code in low-level languages (e.g., Rust, Go, C++).
  
• Integrate cryptographic algorithms and primitives such as hashing, digital signatures, and zero-knowledge proofs.
  
• Contribute to the implementation of virtual machines (e.g., EVM, WASM).
  
• Analyze and optimize protocol performance, latency, and security.
  
• Review, audit, and test code for correctness, security, and performance.
  
• Participate in research and exploration of new blockchain architectures and standards.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps, smart contract, and dApp teams to ensure smooth integrations across the stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in

  , or similar low-level systems languages.
• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture and protocols.
  
• Experience implementing or modifying consensus algorithms (PoS, PoW, etc.).
  
• Knowledge of peer-to-peer networking, distributed systems, and decentralized storage.
  
• Familiarity with cryptographic primitives: Merkle trees, signatures, encryption, ZKPs.
  
• Experience with performance profiling, memory management, and multi-threaded development.
  
• Understanding of blockchain virtual machines (e.g., EVM, WASM).
  
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD, and modern development practices.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience contributing to major blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Cosmos, Substrate, Solana, Tender mint).
  
• Familiarity with frameworks like
