Copywriter & SEO Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Write and edit high-quality, engaging content for websites, blogs, press releases, social media, and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop creative copy for

    advertisements, landing pages, digital campaigns, and video scripts

    .
  • Craft compelling CTAs and persuasive brand stories aligned with Kingston’s institutional ethos.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketing managers, and the PR team to ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all Kingston Group entities (education, hospital, fashion, etc.).

SEO Strategy & Optimization

  • Conduct

    keyword research

    , competitor benchmarking, and performance analysis using SEO tools.
  • Optimize web pages, blogs, and content for

    search visibility and lead generation

  • Monitor website analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console) and prepare regular SEO performance reports.
  • Manage

    on-page, off-page, and technical SEO

    initiatives to improve site authority and traffic.
  • Collaborate with the web development team for SEO-friendly site architecture and metadata updates.
  • Keep up to date with

    Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and content marketing best practices

Integrated Marketing Support

  • Coordinate with the

    social media, ads, and email marketing teams

    to align SEO-driven content strategies.
  • Contribute to

    campaign ideation

    for admissions, health camps, and product promotions.
  • Support content planning for Kingston’s

    YouTube, podcast, and LinkedIn channels

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Mass Communication.
  • 2–5 years of experience in

    copywriting and SEO

    (preferably in digital marketing agencies or brand-side roles).
  • Strong command of written English with storytelling flair and persuasive writing ability.
  • Working knowledge of

    SEO tools

    such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console, Moz, or SurferSEO.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS, WordPress, and content management systems (preferred).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and refine strategies.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or collaboration tools is an added advantage.
