Copywriter Intern

As a Copywriter Intern at IGP (Indian Gifts Portal), you will be responsible for assisting in writing clear, engaging, and emotive content for various platforms such as product descriptions, landing pages, emailers, social media posts, and marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with the design, SEO, and product teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across touchpoints. It will be essential for you to understand and adapt the brand voice of IGP to suit different content formats. Additionally, you will conduct research to create meaningful content for gifts across categories like flowers, cakes, fashion, home dcor, and more. Your role will also involve editing, proofreading, and refining copy to maintain clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy. Moreover, you will contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and assist in crafting taglines, campaign themes, and seasonal content. Key Responsibilities: - Write clear, engaging, and emotive content for product descriptions, landing pages, emailers, social media posts, and marketing campaigns. - Collaborate with design, SEO, and product teams to ensure cohesive storytelling. - Adapt the brand voice of IGP for various content formats. - Conduct research for creating meaningful content across gift categories. - Edit, proofread, and refine copy for clarity and consistency. - Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions for taglines, campaign themes, and seasonal content. Qualifications Required: - Students or recent graduates in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or Marketing. - Excellent command of written English with a strong grasp of grammar, spelling, and style. - Passion for storytelling and creative writing. - Familiarity with e-commerce trends, festive occasions, and lifestyle products is a plus. - Basic knowledge of SEO and digital content writing is advantageous. - Portfolio or writing samples (blogs, social media posts, product copy, etc.) will be highly appreciated.
