Copywriter - D2C / E-Commerce Brands (3-5 Years)

A digital marketing agency helping scale #D2C brands is looking to hire a creative #copywriter for short format writing like concise copy for ads, websites, carousel and banner ads, etc.

The ideal candidate must be a skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail and should be able to engage with targeted audience.

Responsibilities:

•⁠  ⁠Effectively interpreting copywriting briefs to understand project requirements

•⁠  ⁠Researching and understanding client's needs and target audiences through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts and in-person meetings

•⁠  ⁠Conceptualising and writing for creative video, carousel, banner ad copies, etc

•⁠  ⁠Creating website UI, A+ content for Amazon as well as brand language and design with high-quality product descriptions and supporting content

•⁠  ⁠Writing, editing and proofreading high-engagement content that reflects the brand's voice for web, advertising, social, video and online platforms

•⁠  ⁠Produce well-written content that is SEO friendly and optimized for conversion

•⁠  ⁠Producing error-free content that adheres to the brand style guide to ensure high editorial standards

•⁠  ⁠Collaborating with creative, design and marketing team to build small to large scale marketing projects and campaigns

•⁠  ⁠Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere

•⁠  ⁠Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team — and to client representative when requested — and participate occasionally in client pitches

•⁠  ⁠Guide/mentor jr.copywriters

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Journalism, Advertising or Copywriting

- 3-5 years of proven experience in content writing and marketing

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

- Experience of writing UGC content

- Experience of working with D2C or consumer brands

- Experience with SEO copywriting best practices

- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation for facebook Ads

- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with an eye for detail, language, flow and grammar

- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
