Role Overview: We’re looking for a detail-oriented Content Editor to join our editorial team. In this role, you'll work directly with Indian and international authors to develop high-quality manuscripts. Your feedback and editorial direction will help shape engaging and technically sound books for the IT and tech community. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with authors to improve manuscript quality—grammar, tone, structure, readability, and flow—while ensuring alignment with BPB style guidelines and templates. Conduct basic research on assigned topics to understand core technical concepts and enhance editing accuracy. Manage multiple titles and author relationships simultaneously, keeping track of deadlines, feedback, and editorial schedules. Communicate with authors and technical reviewers to address queries, incorporate suggestions, and ensure content clarity. Maintain a consistent editorial workflow and schedule while being flexible enough to accommodate real-time changes. Provide clear, constructive feedback that guides authors toward producing their best work.
