Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and multi-cuisine Cook to manage daily food preparation and cooking operations in our mobile food van. The cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals including Biriyani, mutton, chicken, paneer items for lunch and Chinese fast food with basic continental dishes for evening service. The role demands speed, hygiene, taste consistency, and the ability to work independently in a compact kitchen setup.

Key Responsibilities Lunch Menu Preparation

  • Prepare Biriyani (Chicken/Mutton/Veg) with consistent taste and proper spice balance.
  • Cook mutton, chicken, and paneer dishes as pre-decided menu.
  • Maintain stock for lunch items, ensuring freshness and daily availability.
  • Ensure timely preparation before lunch-selling hours.

Evening Menu Preparation

  • Cook Chinese fast food items such as noodles, fried rice, chilli chicken/paneer, soups, momos, and Manchurian.
  • Prepare basic continental dishes (e.g., pasta, sandwiches, garlic bread, grilled items as applicable).
  • Maintain taste quality and quick serving speed during evening rush hours.

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain hygiene standards inside the food van and during food handling.
  • Cut and marinate meats/vegetables in advance to reduce preparation time.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials, spices, oil, and perishables.
  • Minimize wastage and ensure cost-effective usage of ingredients.
  • Follow food safety and cleanliness protocols at all times.
  • Coordinate with helpers for serving, packing, and billing operations.
  • Maintain equipment (burner, tawa, wok, utensils, freezer, etc.) in working condition.
  • Handle customer preferences, spice levels, and customization when required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years experience in restaurant/food van/fast food environment.
  • Strong skills in Indian cuisine, Biriyani preparation, Chinese fast food, and basic continental knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene, safety rules, portion control and kitchen discipline.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in high-temperature kitchen settings.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
