Controls Testing & Assurance (CT&A) Technology Testing AVP

Role Overview: The Controls Testing & Assurance (CT&A) department at Deutsche Bank is a global function focusing on Compliance and Financial Crime risks and related regulatory requirements critical for the Bank. As an AVP in the Technology Testing Team within CT&A, you will be responsible for conducting testing on the design and effectiveness of IT controls managing Compliance and Financial Crime Risks. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to planning and executing technology control testing projects across all areas of CT&A under the guidance of the Head of CT&A Technology Testing. - Identify risks related to IT elements of controls managing Compliance and Financial Crime Risks, determine root causes, and develop effective remediation plans. - Escalate potential issues and exceptions to senior management for further investigation if necessary. - Ensure findings and recommendations are recorded in CT&A's issue tracker for tracking purposes and follow up on open issues for proper resolution. - Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders such as the Technology Testing Team, Compliance, AFC, Technology, and Group Audit. Qualifications Required: - University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. Professional certifications like CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC are advantageous. - Knowledge of auditing IT application controls and IT risk management. - Understanding of IT risk and its relation to underlying business process risk. - Familiarity with regulations governing financial institutions and topics like embargo controls or anti-money laundering.
