Role: Controllers Finance Division

Location: Bhartiya City of Information Technology, Bangalore

Experience: 017 years (multiple levels)

Key Responsibilities

• Month-End Close & Accounting Operations:
• Manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Month-end Close, Accruals, and General Ledger (GL) processes.
• Handle Inter-company reconciliations, Internal/External Audit requirements, and ensure accurate preparation/review of Financial Statements (Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Schedules).
• Oversee compliance with Direct and Indirect Tax requirements.
• Control Environment & Compliance:
• Ensure SOX and internal control compliance, manage statutory reporting and local GAAP/IFRS requirements.
• Partner with auditors and cross-functional teams to strengthen control framework and remediate findings.
• Process Standardization:
• Drive automation of reconciliations, journal entry postings, and reporting to improve accuracy and reduce close timelines.

Generic Requirements

• Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's in Commerce, Management, MBA, ICWA, CA, CS (Inter/Qualified).
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivots), ability to work with large datasets, build models for variance analysis, and prepare executive-level presentations.
• Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management, collaboration with global teams, ability to manage frequent changes and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Nice to Have: Workday / Adaptive system experience.
