Contracts & Risk Management Manager

As a Proficient Contracts & Risk Management professional for Power Projects, your role involves a variety of responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the Contracts & Risk Management department. Your key responsibilities include: - Training subordinates thoroughly in Contracts & Risk management processes to ensure the preparation of documents meeting the required quality standards - Reviewing documents prepared by Trainees / Executives for accuracy and compliance - Implementing established procedures within CRM, including Enterprise Risk Management - Coordinating risk review meetings with Project Teams and Marketing & Proposal Departments (M&P) - Providing Commercial/Contractual inputs to facilitate M&P in finalizing contracts - Vetting claims and addressing contractual issues upon request from Project Teams - Offering Pre-Bid Commercial queries/deviations to M&P Teams - Supporting M&P in promoting L&T's interests during tender processes - Participating in Pre & Post Bid Discussions as required by M&P - Attending Internal Kick-off Meetings, Customer Kick-off Meetings, and meetings with clients/sub-contractors as needed - Standardizing procedures for efficient operations and preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Conducting workshops, inductions, and training programs for team members - Providing proactive support and advice in Site closure, Contract closure with Client, and Internal Project Closure - Staying updated with the latest industry and L&T developments for knowledge management - Coordinating with Corporate Risk Management and Corporate Legal departments for IC matters Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in commercial departments such as M&P, SCM, or Contracts Management is essential for this role. In addition to the outlined responsibilities, you will be expected to contribute effectively to the Contracts & Risk Management processes of Power Projects while upholding the standards set by the department.,
