Job Description

Parth is seeking a Cricket Content Writer who can capture the excitement of the sport and present it in a compelling, reader-friendly format. If cricket is more than a hobby for you.

This role will allow you to channel your engaging narratives into writing.


Key Responsibilities :


  • Produce well-crafted articles on a diverse range of cricket topics, such as match updates, feature stories, analytical pieces, player profiles, and opinion-driven content.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and engaging write-ups tailored for a global audience of cricket enthusiasts.
  • Track ongoing developments across international, domestic, and franchise cricket and integrate relevant updates into your content.
  • Participate in ideation discussions with the content team to shape new storylines and develop fresh editorial concepts.
  • Ensure each piece aligns with editorial standards and maintains consistency in tone, structure, and accuracy.


Required Qualifications & Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Strong command over written English, with the ability to present information clearly and creatively.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for cricket, supported by an informed understanding of its rules, history, formats, and contemporary landscape.
  • Ability to research thoroughly using credible sources and translate findings into engaging narratives.
  • Capability to work independently while adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and the ability to incorporate them into content.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to engage with reader feedback constructively.


Preferred Attributes:


  • Prior experience using standard writing and editing tools.
  • Comfort in handling multiple assignments while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, exchange feedback, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Ability to support documentation efforts and contribute to content standards where required.
