Five openings still leave us searching for the right candidate, though: We need an awesome contributor to join our fast-growing Contributors team. The ideal candidate, above all, is a voracious consumer of IT news on the web, with a whole roster of interesting blogs and Twitter feeds they follow. Among other things, this intern's responsibilities would be to: Monitor a specific stream - of your choice - of tech industry closely. Read and review and contribute stories to fit Dazeinfo style (snappier, more provocative). Be comfortable with production work and quick turnaround for inputting new stories and slide shows Think of it as a path to get associated with the world's most valuable brands -- a great opportunity to learn about writing intelligent content, reading between the lines, thinking as an analyst, aggregation, curation, and the ins and outs of navigating a CMS.
