Content Writer – Roles and Responsibilities Department: Marketing & Communications Industry: Electric Vehicle (EV) Manufacturing Reports To: Head of Marketing / Communications Manager Role Overview The Content Writer will play a key role in crafting compelling, technically accurate, and brand-aligned content that supports the company’s marketing, branding, and public relations efforts. This individual will help communicate the plant’s innovations, sustainability efforts, and product offerings to customers, partners, stakeholders, and the general public. Key Responsibilities 1. Content Creation Write clear, engaging, and technically accurate content for various platforms, including: Company website (About Us, Products, Sustainability, Careers) Blog posts and technical articles Brochures, flyers, and product manuals Press releases and media kits Internal newsletters and corporate announcements Case studies and whitepapers 2. Marketing & Brand Alignment Ensure content supports the brand’s voice, tone, and values. Collaborate with the design and marketing team to create cohesive campaigns. Contribute to branding strategies through storytelling and positioning. 3. Technical Writing Translate complex engineering and manufacturing concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences (B2B, B2C, government, media). Work with engineers and product developers to create accurate content related to EV technology, battery systems, and production processes. 4. Research & SEO Conduct thorough research on EV trends, technologies, policies, and sustainability topics. Optimize website and blog content for SEO using targeted keywords and best practices. 5. Content Management Maintain and update content in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress). Track and analyze content performance using analytics tools to suggest improvements. 6. Collaboration Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, R&D, sustainability, HR, and sales. Support internal communications and training content when needed.
