JOB DESCRIPTION OF A CONTENT WRITER We are looking for a Freelance Content Writer with a passion for luxury fashion and premium brands to create engaging and high-quality content for our fashion start-up. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of fashion trends, storytelling, and digital content strategies to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement. Develop high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned content for blogs, website, product descriptions, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials. Research fashion trends, luxury market dynamics, and consumer behaviour to create relevant content. Craft compelling product descriptions that highlight the uniqueness, craftsmanship, and luxury appeal of our fashion items. Collaborate with designers, marketers, and branding teams to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging. Write SEO-optimized content to enhance online visibility and drive organic traffic. Assist in developing storytelling narratives for collections, campaigns, and brand stories. Proofread and edit content to maintain a high standard of quality. Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and digital marketing strategies. Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in content writing, preferably in fashion, luxury, or lifestyle brands. Strong understanding of fashion terminology, trends, and luxury branding. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Ability to write for different formats (blogs, social media, product descriptions, etc.). Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and content marketing strategies. Familiarity with fashion e-commerce platforms and social media channels. Strong research skills and attention to detail. Creativity and the ability to adapt brand voice and tone across various content forms. Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: A degree in Journalism, Fashion Communication, Marketing, or related fields. Previous experience writing for a fashion startup, magazine, or luxury brand.
