Role & responsibilities Develop engaging, high-quality content for the brand, including website copy, product descriptions, blog posts, social media content, email newsletters, and more. Craft compelling brand stories and narratives that connect emotionally with the audience, focusing on values, experiences, and lifestyle. Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to align content strategies with brand messaging and campaigns. Create content that reflects the unique voice of the brand and maintains consistency across all channels. Research and understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitors to produce relevant and impactful content. Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines. Optimize content for SEO, ensuring higher visibility and engagement across search engines and social media platforms. Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to create multimedia content, including videos and infographics. Manage content calendars and meet deadlines for regular content deliverables. Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to adjust strategies for increased engagement and conversion. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. 2-5 years of proven experience in content writing and storytelling, preferably for a D2C or Home Decor brand. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to write in various styles and formats, including blog posts, product descriptions, social media posts, and email copy. Deep understanding of SEO best practices for content writing. Creative, with the ability to craft engaging narratives and compelling brand stories. Strong research skills and the ability to transform information into engaging, reader friendly content. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams. Familiarity with social media platforms. Ability to work independently, manages multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Perks and benefits Experience in the Home Decor industry or with D2C brands is a plus. Knowledge of keyword research tools, analytics platforms, and SEO optimization. Familiarity with multimedia content creation tools (e.g., Canva, etc). Experience in storytelling and brand building through digital content.
