Role Description

We are seeking a Content & Email Marketing Specialist to lead our digital storytelling through email campaigns, newsletters, and blogs.

This is a full-time, remote position responsible for developing and executing content strategies that engage audiences, strengthen brand awareness, and share Nucleus Institute’s research and product innovations with the world.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer, strategist, and creative thinker who can turn complex AI concepts into clear, engaging narratives that connect with business and technology audiences.

Email Marketing & Automation

• Plan, write, and design email campaigns that nurture subscribers, announce new initiatives, and drive engagement.
• Build and optimize automated email workflows (e.g., welcome series, content updates, event invites).
• Manage and segment mailing lists for personalized communication.
• Track performance metrics (open rate, CTR, conversions) and optimize campaigns using data insights.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, CASL, and best practices for deliverability.

Newsletter Strategy

• Develop and manage a recurring AI-focused newsletter that showcases research, insights, and product updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams (research, design, marketing) to curate and present high-value content.
• Grow and engage the subscriber base through list-building and content partnerships.

Blog & Content Marketing

• Write and edit blog posts, thought-leadership articles, and research summaries aligned with the company’s AI vision.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex topics into accessible, high-quality content.
• Optimize posts for SEO and cross-promotion on LinkedIn and other channels.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all written communications.

Analytics & Optimization

• Measure content and email performance with data-driven insights.
• Identify trends, topics, and opportunities to enhance engagement.
• Continuously improve campaigns and content based on audience behavior and feedback.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in email marketing, newsletter creation, and content writing/editing.
• Strong command of email automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign).
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills — particularly in the technology or AI space.
• Understanding of SEO, content strategy, and digital marketing analytics.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing editorial calendars and multi-channel content campaigns.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or emerging tech trends.
• Basic design skills (Figma, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
