Job Overview: As the Content Director within Omnicom Media Group’s Content & Events Practice, you will lead a pod of key client accounts. You will be responsible for delivering integrated content solutions, strategic event planning, sponsorships, impact shows, IP development, and influencer marketing strategies. You will be accountable for achieving revenue and billing targets, maintaining strong client relationships, and positioning OMG as a leader in creative and impactful brand experiences. Your strategic vision, operational expertise, and industry knowledge will drive the development of innovative brand proposals, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Job Title: Director Content Location: Mumbai. Experience: 10+ years Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Own and drive revenue targets for designated regions. Ensure P&L compliance to guarantee the successful performance of the content practice. Develop and implement strategic plans to meet and exceed revenue and billing targets. Provide creative and impactful solutions tailored to client needs, leveraging cross-functional expertise. Anticipate market trends and competitor activities, recommending proactive strategies to maintain client competitiveness. Build strong relationships with media strategy and investment teams to align content programs with broader strategic priorities. Client Management Act as a trusted advisor to key client stakeholders, ensuring deep understanding of their business objectives. Maintain exceptional client relations, identifying opportunities for growth and strengthening partnerships. Provide consistent oversight on project progress, resolving challenges effectively. Creative Solutions and Execution Collaborate with clients, internal team and strategy teams to ensure quality and innovation in all proposals. Lead end-to-end execution of content strategies, events, sponsorships, impact shows, IPs, and influencer campaigns. Serve as the day-to-day content expert and point of contact for clients, integrated agency teams, and partners. Oversee the execution of content programs from strategy and ideation to creative development and execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives and overall media campaigns. Maintain operational excellence with a strong focus on timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Team Management Provide mentorship and development opportunities to your team, fostering growth and productivity. Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring resource optimization and balanced workloads. Industry and Vendor Relations Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, media partners, and industry stakeholders. Identify and onboard reliable partners to ensure quick proposal turnarounds and seamless execution. Performance Management Oversee internal and external work streams and production processes during the creative development phase Produce and manage written and visual materials, including brand briefs, client recommendations, and program overviews. Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership on business performance and client satisfaction. Manage project reports at the end of campaigns and ensure financial processes and legal contracts are in place from a business perspective. Ensure pre, during, and post-program measurement and optimization plans are in place and aligned with KPIs. Qualifications & Skills: 10+ years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, events management, sponsorships, and influencer marketing within a media agency, brand or publisher or similar environment. Strong background in managing large-scale content initiatives across multiple platforms and formats Proven track record of delivering business growth and meeting revenue targets. Strong leadership and people management skills. Exceptional client management and negotiation abilities. Excellent strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, teams, and partners. Deep understanding of media, advertising, and brand marketing landscapes. Analytical mindset with the ability to draw insights and recommend actionable strategies.
