Role & responsibilities Create various forms of compelling content - written & video - for blog posts, newsletters, ebooks etc. Market the content online. Preferred candidate profile The content creator should: - be very good with written and spoken English. - have an in depth knowledge of html & css - be able to conduct in depth research about the provided topic(s). After that, he / she should be able to write high quality blog posts, newsletters, ebooks, and other forms of content about the topic. - be able to use .html and .css to make a web page of the content, and upload it to a website. - be able to manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content. - be able to take a blank site and establish it is an industry leading website based on the strength of the content, and the user base. - be able to promote and market the content online by visiting various websites, online forums, discussion groups, and talking about the content. - be able to make video posts on the topic(s) provided. - be able to learn basic SEO principles, and implement it in their writing where feasible. Good to have: - ability to edit images using a tool like GIMP - ability to edit vidoes using a tool like Black Magic. - ability to use GIT for version control. Perks and benefits 1) The job is completely remote. 2) The amount of work requires this to be a full time job. However, for the right candidate, we can also consider a part time engagement that aligns with their existing schedule. 3) Candidates who have the ability to deliver based on the job description can also take this up as a moonlighting assignment while continuing their full time job. 4) The variable component of the salary is pretty high (up to 60% of the base salary).
