About us Leapstart School of Technology is seeking a creative and energetic Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This is a hands-on role that blends content creation, video production, and on-camera storytelling to connect with our student and tech-driven audience. About the Role We are looking for a proactive and multi-skilled Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This is a hands-on role involving content creation, video production, and performance-driven storytelling. You’ll play a key part in shaping engaging content for platforms like Instagram , YouTube Shorts , and Facebook , both behind the scenes and in front of the camera . Key Responsibilities Write creative scripts and content ideas for reels, shorts, and other short-form videos. Act and present confidently on camera as part of brand reels and stories. Assist in video shooting and setup (planning shots, framing, lighting). Edit videos using CapCut , Adobe Premiere Pro , or similar tools. Design visually appealing graphics using Photoshop , InDesign , or Canva . Collaborate with the content, design, and production teams on campaigns. Keep up with current trends in social media, audio, and visual formats. Assist in publishing content, monitoring platforms, and engaging with the audience. Support influencer research and social media analytics when needed. Required Skills Strong creative writing skills for short-form video content. Confident on-camera presence and presentation skills. Basic videography (framing, lighting, using DSLR/phone cameras). Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro). Graphic design experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, etc. Familiarity with social media trends, formats, and audience behavior. Good communication and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Media , Communication , Design , Marketing , or a related field. Portfolio or examples of past work in content creation, video editing, or design (if available).
