Job Description

As a Consultant Workday Analyst at Genpact, you will have the exciting opportunity to work alongside a team of experts in designing, developing, testing, and deploying Python-based applications. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications required for this role: Responsibilities: - Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver scalable Python applications. - Write clean, maintainable code following best practices in software development. - Develop unit tests and conduct automated testing to ensure code reliability. - Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback on code changes. - Assist in troubleshooting issues, debugging code, and providing timely resolutions. - Learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages as required by projects. - Document development processes, code changes, and other technical information for reference and knowledge sharing. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Solid understanding of Python programming fundamentals and object-oriented design principles. - Familiarity with web frameworks such as Django or Flask is a plus. - Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to collective goals. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Preferred qualifications: - Prior internship or project experience involving Python development. - Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies. - Exposure to database systems (SQL or NoSQL) and ORM libraries.
