Consultant - Proposal

As a Consultant - Proposal at WSP in Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in developing and writing content for various marketing deliverables. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and writing content for WSP proposals, discussion papers, grants, collateral, and other marketing deliverables - Serving as an author for proposal sections to convey technical information clearly and effectively tell our story - Providing copy editing, proofreading, and final reviews for proposals and marketing materials - Assisting in editing down copy to meet page limitations - Delivering high-quality writing for proposals and presentations by conducting research, analyzing statistical reports, and interviewing technical staff - Leveraging resources within the firm to support all pursuit stages and differentiate WSP to clients - Supporting the development of differentiators, value propositions, and key messages - Applying new technologies and innovations for proposals and presentations, including creative media approaches and digital tools - Providing guidance to the proposal development team to ensure compliance, readability, quality, and sales messaging of pursuit-related materials - Assisting marketing coordinators and managers with proposal production on an as-needed basis - Performing any other duties as assigned Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree, preferably in Engineering, journalism, or English - French competency level C1 is a prerequisite - 5+ years of experience in a relevant role - Ability to produce compelling content under tight deadlines - Understanding of journalistic writing styles, including the inverted pyramid approach - Proficiency in following a style guide like AP - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, marketing strategy development, group facilitation, and teamwork - Possessing a strategic mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to build trust and influence others at all levels - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs - Being a self-motivated team member who demonstrates initiative, multitasking abilities, and cultural awareness Join WSP in Bengaluru and be part of a collaborative team that thrives on challenges, unconventional thinking, and making a positive impact on communities near and far.
