Responsibilities Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI Design and implement data models utilizing Dax for calculations and analysis Connect to various data sources and clean and transform data for use in Power BI reports and dashboards Analyze datasets to uncover trends, insights, and key performance indicators Troubleshoot and optimize Power BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity What we are looking for Proficiency in Power BI: Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service Data Modelling: Experience in creating complex data models, including relationships, hierarchies, and calculated tables and columns DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Ability to write complex DAX formulas for data manipulation and analysis Power Query: Expertise in using Power Query for data extraction, transformation, and loading SQL: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases Data Visualization: Skills in creating visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards. Model Optimization: Expertise in optimizing data models for performance, including techniques such as reducing data size and efficient use of DAX Integration: Knowledge of integrating Power BI with other tools and platforms (e.g., Power Apps and SharePoint) Security and Compliance Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements Row-level Security (RLS): Experience in implementing RLS to restrict data access for specific users Object-level Security (OLS): Experience in implementing OLS to control access to specific objects within the data model Good to have Advanced Excel: Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and features VBA (Visual Basic for Applications): Ability to write and understand VBA code for automation and advanced Excel functionalities Power Platform Tools: Experience with other Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate O365 Platform Tools: Familiarity with Office 365 tools and their integration with Power BI Project Management Tools: Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project Disclaimer: The following job description serves as an informative reference for the tasks you may be required to perform.
