We Are Hiring For Reputed Superspeciality Hospital Job Title: Consultant Neurophysician Department: Neurology Location: Medak, Hyderabad Reporting To: Head of Department (Neurology) / Medical Director Job Summary The Consultant Neurophysician will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders related to the nervous system, including diseases of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. The role requires advanced clinical skills, patient-centered care, and active participation in departmental academic and research activities. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed neurological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and manage both acute and chronic neurological disorders. Interpret neurophysiological tests such as EEG, EMG, NCV, VEP, and SSEP. Provide inpatient and outpatient care for neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, neuropathies, etc. Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, and other specialists for interdisciplinary patient management. Participate in ward rounds, ICU rounds, case discussions, and mortality meetings. Educate and supervise junior doctors, residents, and allied healthcare staff. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and documentation policies. Engage in CME, research, audits, and departmental teaching activities. Qualifications MBBS with MD (General Medicine) + DM (Neurology) from a recognized institute. Valid registration with the State Medical Council/NMC. Experience Minimum 0–3 years of experience post-DM (freshers with strong academic background may be considered). Prior experience in managing acute neurological emergencies is preferred. Skills And Competencies Strong clinical acumen in neurophysiology and neuropharmacology. Proficient in neurodiagnostic techniques and tools. Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Research interest or academic publications will be an added advantage.
