Job Description

1. Review, improve and approve MIS reports from section heads. Planning and implementing of internal Quality Control, External Quality Control and proficiency tests with Chief of Laboratory Services / Head- Operations / Head Quality Assurance. 2. To oversee all technical aspects of Microbiology / Serology /Molecular Biology/IF departments. 3. Complaint Handling and analysis of complaints. 4. Optimum utilization of staff & equipment’s. 5. Appraisals of sectional heads. 6. Approve vendor list. 7. Handling major breakdowns, repairs and shortages. 8. Fulfilling the requirements of NABL. 9. Random checks. 10. Generate documentation for changes made in report (in form of foot note, which briefly describe the changes). 11. Ensure results are reported within the turnaround time through sectional heads and review their performance in light of this. 12. Responsible for the management and documentation of clerical, analytical, Pre-analytical error. 13. Responsible to notify the notifiable diseases to the concerned authorities. 14. Training of Staff from time to time. 15. Responsible as safety officer for maintaining safety of the work environment.
