Job Summary:

The Consultant – Emergency Medicine will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based emergency care to patients presenting with acute illness or injury. The role includes rapid assessment, stabilization, clinical decision-making, supervision of junior staff, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient management.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care

Perform rapid assessment, diagnosis, and management of all emergency and trauma cases.

Lead resuscitation efforts for critically ill patients (cardiac arrest, stroke, polytrauma, shock, poisoning, etc.).

Ensure timely and appropriate investigations, interventions.

Provide advanced life support including ventilatory support, and emergency procedures.

Patient Management & Documentation

Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and ensure adherence to medico-legal guidelines.

Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis.

Supervise and guide Emergency Medical Officers, Residents, Nurses, and Paramedics.

Collaborate with consultants from other departments (Critical Care, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Neurology, etc.) for multidisciplinary care.

Participate in emergency response and disaster management planning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
