Kasturba Hospital is looking for Consultant Critical Care Medicine / Intensive Care Specialist to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey Patient Assessment:Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients to determine medical conditions and treatment needs Treatment Planning:Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients in the intensive care unit, addressing their specific medical needs Ventilator Management:Manage and oversee mechanical ventilation for patients requiring respiratory support Monitoring:Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to assess patients' vital signs and respond promptly to changes in their condition Diagnostic Procedures:Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures, such as chest X-rays, echocardiograms, and laboratory tests Collaboration:Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including surgeons, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to optimize patient care Family Communication:Communicate effectively with patients' families, providing updates on the patient's condition, treatment plan, and prognosis Emergency Response:Respond to medical emergencies within the hospital, particularly in critical care areas Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
