MEP - Quantity Surveyor & Cost Manager - Construction Experience: 2–10 Years | Location: Bengaluru Department: Commercial / Cost Management Type: Indian & Gulf Role Summary Responsible for managing all cost and contract aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, covering both pre-contract (estimation, tendering) and post-contract (cost control, variations, and final accounts) activities for building and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed MEP quantity take-offs and cost estimates. Develop and review BOQs, tender evaluations, and comparison statements. Support value engineering and cost planning exercises. Review and certify contractor interim payments and variations. Analyze and evaluate claims, change orders , and final accounts. Monitor budgets, commitments, and cost reports. Coordinate with design , procurement, and site teams for cost-related matters. Ensure compliance with project specifications and contract terms. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting systems. Experience in both Indian and Gulf projects preferred. Familiarity with POMI / CESMM / FIDIC standards. Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and QS software (Candy). Good analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Qualifications Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
