Computer Vision Systems Modelling Engineer

As a Systems Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be part of the growing multimedia systems team focused on innovating to enhance mobile multimedia capabilities while minimizing power consumption and device cost. Your role will involve developing fixed-point implementations and C/C++ models for image processing, supporting HW verification & SW development, and optimizing image processing algorithm complexity. **Key Responsibilities:** - Developing fixed-point implementations and C/C++ models for image processing and associated infrastructure modules - Supporting HW verification & SW development via behavioral model test vectors - Optimizing image processing algorithm complexity and quality trade-offs **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience - Algorithm design and fixed-point implementation experience - Strong knowledge of data structures and proficiency in C/C++ programming - Familiarity with UNIX/Win/Linux computing platforms **Preferred Qualifications:** - Background in digital signal processing, statistics, and data analysis - Experience with image processing algorithms, color science, and image signal processor pipelines - Proficiency in MATLAB and Python programming Join Qualcomm's dedicated team of system engineers and contribute to the cutting-edge efforts in image processing and computer vision.
