In this position, hewill monitor the capabilities of all systems within our organization to ensure smooth hardware operation. hewill work closely with the team to track malfunctions and perform back-ups, run virus scans, and ensure the security of company information and operating systems.Maintain and support all computer hardware and software systems.Oversee maintenance to equipment and keep systems up-to-date with operating systems upgrades.Ensure controls are set.Perform troubleshooting for various system errors.Evaluate connectivity issues, network equipment, and servers.Perform data backups and other maintenance requirements to ensure optimal performance.Run system-wide antivirus protections.Ensure data and employee information is not at risk.Setup equipment and operation for new users and employees.Determines sequence of operations by studying production schedule.Prepares equipment for operations by accessing software in computer; loading paper into printers and plotters; preparing for output.Starts operations by entering commands.Maintains operations by monitoring error and stoppage messages; observing peripheral equipment; entering commands to correct errors and stoppages; reloading paper; making adjustments in process; notifying supervisor for additional resources.Documents problems and actions by completing production logs.Resolves user problems by answering questions and requests.
