Computer Hardware Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Laptop Repair Technician who can handle general laptop repairs as well as chip level motherboard repairs. You will be responsible for diagnosing hardware faults, performing repairs, replacing components, and ensuring laptops are returned in perfect working condition. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair hardware issues in laptops (screen, keyboard, battery, hinges, ports, etc.) Perform chip-level troubleshooting and repairs on motherboards, including BGA rework and component replacements Handle BIOS programming, power section issues, and short circuit troubleshooting Replace faulty components such as ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, and resistors Maintain accurate records of all repairs done and parts used Ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workspace Coordinate with the inventory team for required spare parts Requirements: Proven experience in laptop hardware repair (minimum 1 year preferred) Solid knowledge of chip-level diagnosis and soldering (hot air gun, soldering iron, multimeter, etc.) Ability to read circuit diagrams and use diagnostic tools Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude
