Job Description

Job Summary:

CAD Designer

Roles & Responsibilities:

Create accurate
2D drawings and 3D models
using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, etc.).
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and assembly designs with proper dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Modify and update designs based on feedback from engineers, clients, or manufacturing teams.
Collaborate with the production and programming team (CNC/VMC) to ensure design feasibility for manufacturing.
Maintain design documentation and drawing records as per company standards.
Assist in product development, prototyping, and improvement of existing designs.
Ensure all designs comply with quality, safety, and industry standards.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and design principles.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, sheet metal, etc.).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
