Compliance Testing Officer

As a Compliance Testing Manager, your role involves conducting Compliance reviews of Banks functions and new products to provide reasonable assurance to the Management regarding compliance with regulatory norms. Your key responsibilities include: - Assisting in the preparation of Compliance Review plan to be presented to the Board. - Preparing and updating Compliance review checklists in alignment with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. - Undertaking field work and ensuring timely completion of the review. - Drafting Compliance Review reports and discussing them with relevant stakeholders. - Gathering responses from stakeholders and preparing Final Compliance Review Report. - Maintaining proper documentation and working papers for all conducted compliance reviews. - Creating an Open Issue tracker for Compliance Review Reports issued. - Following up with the management to close compliance review open issues. In addition to the responsibilities, the essential competencies required for this role include: - In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment for banks in India, especially RBI regulations. - Strong research capabilities and ability to intelligently interpret regulatory guidelines. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Banking Industry. - Good understanding of all elements (commercial, operational) of banking areas such as Trade, Remittances, Treasury, etc. - Strong interpersonal skills.
