Job Description

Role Overview: Join as a Compliance & Ethics Investigator at Oracle, the #1 global provider of business software with a significant presence in over 175 countries. The Compliance & Ethics Investigations team (CEI) within Oracles JAPAC Legal and Compliance group is seeking individuals to handle internal investigative matters and strengthen the effectiveness of Oracles Compliance Program. As a member of the JAPAC CEI team, you will play a crucial role in investigating violations of Oracles policies and processes while working collaboratively with various cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and conduct investigations of alleged violations of Oracles ethical standards, policies, and business practices in a timely, detailed, and objective manner. - Support all facets of internal compliance investigations including planning, information gathering, data analysis, interviewing, and report writing. - Prepare high-quality written reports detailing allegations, investigative work, key findings, and recommended actions. - Identify compliance risk areas and collaborate with internal stakeholders to address concerns. - Engage with subject matter authorities and assist in promoting an ethical corporate environment. Qualifications Required: - Undergraduate degree or higher in relevant fields. - Professional certifications such as CFE, CPA/CA, CIA are a plus. - 6+ years of experience in corporate investigations with knowledge of FCPA and the UK Bribery Act. - Understanding of financial and operational business processes and risks. - Proficiency in English, strong communication skills; knowledge of Asian languages like Japanese or Korean is a plus. - Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Highest level of personal integrity, ability to maintain confidentiality, and instill trust in others. - Good interpersonal skills, supportive, collaborative, and self-motivated. - Willingness to travel when required (estimated travel < 20%).
