Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assist in designing, reviewing and updating compensation structures and salary grids
Coordinate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, variable pay, deductions, reimbursements, incentives, bonuses, etc.
Ensure payroll accuracy in coordination with HR, Finance and Compliance teams
Maintain and update employee CTCs, salary revisions, promotion-related salary changes
Support annual compensation benchmarking / salary survey activities
Administer employee benefits such as insurance, PF, ESIC, gratuity and other welfare schemes
Manage incentive/commission pay-outs and maintain MIS trackers
Handle employee compensation-related queries with accuracy and within defined TAT
Ensure compliance with statutory rules related to compensation and generate required reports
Coordinate with external vendors (HRMIS vendor, insurance vendors, benefits providers)
Prepare compensation dashboards, analytics, and variance reports for management review

Participate in budgeting and manpower cost planning exercises

Preferred candidate profile

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of payroll structure, components & statutory requirements (PF/ESIC/PT/LWF/Gratuity)
Advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets skills
Data accuracy and analytical mindset
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Exposure to payroll tools (Paybooks, GreytHR, etc.) preferred

Qualification & Experience

Bachelors degree or MBA in HR preferred
3–5 years of experience in C&B or payroll coordination role
Experience in HR operations in BPO / Shared Services is an advantage
