Job Description

Engagement with volunteers Identification and profiling of volunteers Mobilize and engage volunteers in community level events on health and nutrition and GBV
Mobilization volunteers to take ownership for community development Creating a pool of community volunteers who will become our advocates in the community to sustain

our work at community level
Guide community volunteers to lead collective actions in the community

Role: The Community Organizer mobilizes volunteers, strengthens community groups, and coordinates with key stakeholders to support health, nutrition, and GBV-related initiatives
The role includes guiding volunteers and community groups to take ownership of local actions, organizing community events and campaigns, and maintaining accurate documentation through CommCare, mapping, registrations, and monthly reports

Educational Requirement: SSC Degree Experience: 3 years of work experience in development sector
Location: Govandi Reports to: Program Officer Apply: Applications are to be sent via email to

Engagement with stakeholders To coordinate with Health post, ICDS and police for convergence while conducting community Meetings

and events
To coordinate with local groups of youth, CBO s and NGO s to network to collaborate our activities

jointly or independently
Participate in team discussion, stakeholder s meetings for program implementation

Engagement with community groups Formation and strengthening of community groups and their regular meetings
Transferring role and Guiding gat members to take ownership of all above activities Support community groups in organizing community campaigns To guide community groups to lead collective actions in the community

Documentation: Maintain beneficiaries and other data update in CommCare Area mapping, household and beneficiary registration Prepare case stories on monthly basis Maintaining data of all designated households, individual beneficiary in CommCare and if required in

physical registers/book Prepare a monthly calendar of activities/events

Ability to remain non-judgmental and set aside personal biases when working with survivors

Capacity to adapt to change and work with diverse groups

Willingness to work late hours or weekends when required
