Job Description

The Community Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding and nurturing the community engagement efforts. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to grow network, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and enhancing public awareness about air quality issues. The role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for environmental advocacy and the ability to mobilize communities toward positive change. Roles and Responsibilities: Community Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to engage with local communities, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to promote companys mission. Event Coordination: Organize workshops, seminars, and community events to educate the public about air quality issues and companys initiatives. Digital Outreach: Manage companys social media platforms and website content to ensure consistent and effective communication. Partnership Development: Identify and establish partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, and private sector entities to further companys objectives. Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers to support various company projects and events. Feedback Collection: Gather insights from the community to inform company programs and policy recommendations. Required Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach, and public relations roles Required Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities in English. Experience in managing social media platforms, content creation, and basic website management. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups and individuals. Proven ability to plan and execute events, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. A demonstrated commitment to environmental advocacy and understanding of air quality challenges in India. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for community events. Willingness to travel regularly for community events, partnerships, and on-ground engagement activities.
