Job Description

As a Commi 2nd Chef at our hotel, your role will involve preparing and cooking food in the kitchen. You will work under the guidance of the Head Chef or Sous Chef and manage a specific section of the kitchen, such as Chinese, South Indian, Indian Halwai, or Continental cuisine. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook food to the highest quality standards - Ensure all dishes are cooked to order and served on time - Manage your section of the kitchen and maintain equipment - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment - Order and manage inventory - Train junior chefs - Assist with menu planning and development Qualifications Required: - Culinary degree or relevant certification - Previous experience in a similar role - Strong communication skills - Ability to work well under pressure - Passion for creating delicious dishes In addition to cooking duties, you may also be involved in ordering inventory, training junior chefs, and assisting with menu planning and development.
