Qualifications and Skills Basic knowledge of Indian cuisines and kitchen operations. (Mandatory skill) Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately. (Mandatory skill) Proficiency in food preparation techniques, ensuring efficient and quality output. Understanding of kitchen hygiene practices to maintain a clean working environment. Adeptness in food safety protocols to ensure customer health and satisfaction. Skillful at handling ingredients with care to preserve quality and freshness. Knife skills to skillfully and safely perform various cutting techniques. Basic culinary education or training is preferred but not mandatory. Roles and Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and cooking of Indian dishes as per menu specifications. Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized, adhering to health and safety regulations. Follow guidance from senior chefs to support overall kitchen operations. Maintain inventory of ingredients and report requirements to the supervisor. Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes to maintain consistent quality. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for menu improvements.
