Key Responsibility Areas (KRA): KRA Description - Food Preparation : Assist in the preparation of dishes in Continental and Chinese cuisine as per standard recipes and portion sizes. - Station Setup: Ensure mise-en-place is ready before service time for both cuisines. - Quality Control : Maintain hygiene and food safety standards; ensure consistency in taste and presentation. - Kitchen Cleanliness : Keep workstations and utensils clean before, during, and after the shift. - Inventory Assistance : Assist in receiving, checking, and storing raw materials for both cuisine sections. - Team Support : Cooperate with seniors and fellow commis to ensure smooth kitchen operations. - Learning & Skill Development : Learn new techniques and recipes under guidance; show consistent improvement. - Wastage Control : Minimize food wastage by practicing proper storage and portion control. - Timeliness & Attendance : Report on time for shifts; ensure discipline and punctuality. - Compliance : Follow SOPs, kitchen safety protocols, and hygiene standards (e.g., FSSAI norms).
