We are the Western Group of companies comprises of Western Offshore and Marine Projects Pvt. Ltd., Western Marine Services LLC in UAE, and Western Builders. Western’s headquarters is based in Kochi, the commercial capital of lush green south Indian state of Kerala. We started in the year 2007 as Western Interior Designers and Marine Contractors for carrying out interior and habitability work for commercial buildings and on ships. Now we are looking for a Commercial Manager, who has expertise in Marine field, Tenders & Bids . Experience in GEM portal is highly advised. Job Title: Commercial Manager Location: 1st Floor, Karthika Apartments, 27/1084D, Panampilly Nagar, Kochi, Ernakulam, Kerala 682036 Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We seek an experienced Commercial Manager to lead our commercial activities, driving business growth through strategic planning, technical expertise, and commercial acumen. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve business objectives. 2. Provide technical and commercial expertise to support business development, sales, and marketing efforts. 3. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business decisions. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance) to ensure alignment and effective execution. 5. Negotiate and finalize contracts, agreements, and partnerships. 6. Manage techno-commercial aspects of projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. 7. Identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks. 8. Experience and expertise in GEM and other tender Portal Requirements: 1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical), Business Administration, or related field. 2. 3+ years of experience in commercial roles, preferably in industries like energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing. 3. Strong technical and commercial knowledge, with ability to apply expertise to drive business growth. 4. Proven leadership and management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams. 5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: 1. B Tech Mechanical, MBA or equivalent degree. 2.
