This position in on roll of company (JCI payroll) We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Billing to join our team and oversee billing operations for complex projects, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, engineers, finance and related stakeholders, to maximize overall billing. This is a key responsible role for managing billing strategies, ensuring accuracy, and driving improvements in billing processes. The individual will be a key player in driving the Billing process, aligning with project teams, and ensuring seamless invoicing. Designation: Senior Manager – Billing Location: Mumbai Portfolio: Project Billing Operations, Stakeholder Coordination, driving Process Improvement Key Responsibilities Lead and manage billing activities for ongoing projects to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient invoicingDrive monthly and quarterly billing forecasts in line with Revenue and hold regular reviews with stakeholders to ensure billing goals are metStrong background in managing billing for complex, multi-phased projects with various stakeholdersAligning billing pool to cover collection plan for the month/quarter/ yearLiaise with Project Managers, engineers, and finance teams to create and manage billing plans aligned with project timelines and goalsMaximize billing, ensure that billing is aligned with contractual terms and revenue recognition principlesDirectly engage with customers when needed to ensure all billing approvals are in placeCollaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve billing cycles, to make room for collections on timeEnsure the timely submission of billing requests from project teams and address any invoicing-related issuesAct as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams to resolve issues hindering billing/ collection Required Experience & Skills Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project billing management, ideally in a leadership capacityExpertise in revenue recognition, billing methodologies (e.g., time & materials, fixed price), and financial systems (ERP, billing software)Expertise in MS Excel (advanced level) for data analysis and reporting, and familiarity with other project management toolsExperience working closely with finance, sales, and operations teams to align billing strategies with business goals.Proven track record of delivering accurate, timely billingStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work with various stakeholders effectively
