To implement and monitor the Fire Prevention and safety strategy to make the Nagpur International Airport fire safe and ensure enforcement of all the fire safety norms for effective fire prevention. Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators Ensure fire safety audits are conducted as per international best practices such as ISO/DGCA for operational building / Terminals / Aircraft maintenance hangars to assess fire risks at the airport and ensure compliance. Plan v/s actual No. of audits (internal & external) No. of non-compliance reported & mitigation actions to resolve.Ensure availability of required building fire No Objection Certificates (NOC) as per Goa Fire & Emergency Services rule & state building by- law.No. of No Objection Certificates required v/s obtainedIssuance of hot-work permits & enforces fire safety norms at hot-work site as per SOP. No. of hot work permit issued No. of incident/accident reported Carryout the Joint Inspection for Issuing of GNIAL fire clearance to concessionaires as per SOP. No. of GNIAL Fire Clearance Issued No. of noncompliance closed EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS Grade-I, Diploma in Aviation Fire or Graduate preferably with science from any recognized University. JFO Course or equivalent from any Aviation academy. Valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driving License Good knowledge in all ICAO Doc, DGCA CAR, State Building Bylaws & NBC Good knowledge in Computer. Good communication/ presentation skills. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE Minimum 10 year experience in Aviation firefighting out of which 6 years experience as a Lead fire fighter. Should possess good knowledge of NBC. Should possess good communication skills to carry out Radio Telephony communication.
