Oversee virtualized Windows and Linux servers, addressing performance and capacity issues. Perform system health checks, patches, and updates. Troubleshoot server-related issues and escalate when necessary. 2 ESXi Host Management Monitor VMware ESXi hosts for performance, resource utilization, and availability. Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades for ESXi hosts. Address virtualization issues, including VM provisioning, migration, and troubleshooting. 3 Storage Administration (NetApp) Monitor and manage NetApp storage systems to ensure adequate space and performance. Perform data storage provisioning and tiering based on operational requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve storage performance issues. Manage SAN/NAS configurations and connectivity. 4 Backup Management (NetApp) Oversee backup processes to ensure data integrity and recoverability. Manage NetApp backup solutions, ensuring adherence to data retention policies. Perform regular backup validation and testing. Address backup failures and coordinate recovery activities. 5 Database Management (MS SQL) Monitor Microsoft SQL databases for performance, security, and capacity. Perform regular database maintenance, including backups and indexing. Troubleshoot database connectivity and query performance issues. Collaborate with development teams to optimize database usage. 6 Network Monitoring (Cisco) Monitor Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Analyze and resolve network performance issues, including latency and packet loss. Coordinate with network teams to implement configurations and updates. Respond to network security incidents and perform troubleshooting. 7 Incident Management Respond to system alerts, outages, and performance issues promptly. Troubleshoot and escalate incidents as required to ensure timely resolution. Document incidents, root cause analysis, and resolutions in the incident management system. 8 Communication And Coordination Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for all major incidents. Communicate updates to stakeholders during incidents, ensuring transparency. Coordinate with internal and external teams to address and resolve issues. 9 Service Delivery And Support Ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. Support scheduled maintenance, system upgrades, and deployments. Conduct health checks on critical systems and applications. 10 Process Improvement Identify gaps in monitoring and incident response processes. Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
