Role Description

The Collections Manager position is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The responsibilities include overseeing the collections process for assigned areas, managing collection teams, and ensuring timely recovery of dues from clients. The role requires monitoring collection performance, creating and implementing strategies to improve recovery rates, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, the Collections Manager will be responsible for resolving customer disputes, analyzing trends in overdue accounts, and reporting regularly to senior management.

• Strong expertise in credit management, debt recovery, and collection processes
• Analytical skills and the ability to monitor, evaluate, and optimize collection performance
• Experience in team management, mentoring, and ensuring team productivity
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Familiarity with regulations governing financial recovery and compliance
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; post-graduate qualifications are a plus
• Prior experience in the financial services or banking industry is highly desirable
