Job Description

As a Cash Collections Specialist at our organization, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Accurately forecast cash receipts on the assigned portfolio(s) on a monthly basis - Ensure collection and forecast metrics are achieved on the assigned portfolio(s) - Analyze financial information and relevant data of assigned customers to assess credit risk and provide necessary recommendations - Build relationships with business partners to facilitate smooth cooperation between the Credit department and the business(es) owning the assigned portfolios - Add value to the business by continuously improving processes and maximizing cash flow for the assigned portfolios - Resolve and prevent Unapplied Cash - Prepare reports and participate in cash calls with Business - Drive dispute resolution and ensure timely clearance of resolved disputes - Contribute to Continuous Improvement processes by suggesting improvement ideas monthly using RPS Techniques (5Why, Fishbone, Gembas) - Build Customer Rapport and manage Past Dues effectively via calls and other communication channels - Manage a portfolio of Customer Segment A & B with a focus on digital based on regional specifics Qualifications and Experience: - Graduation in Commerce, Finance, or related field - Experience in finance, accounting, collections, or Accounts Receivables department - 7-8 years of directly related experience, preferably in credit/collections Professional Skills and Knowledge: - Knowledge of basic accounting principles and expertise in cash collection processes and risk analysis practices - Strong credit skills in areas like insurance, letters of credit, financing, and legal environment - Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and financial analysis skills - Goal-oriented, motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks - Excellent communication skills for calls and negotiations with customers - Excellent written and presentation skills to interact confidently and ethically with internal and external customers - Strong PC skills with proficiency in Excel and experience in Microsoft Office products - Knowledge of SAP A/R, SalesForce systems highly desirable - Fluent in English; knowledge of 1+ other languages is a plus - Green belt Certification is a plus About Us: Honeywell helps organizations solve complex challenges in automation, aviation, and energy transition through Aerospace Technologies, Building Automation, Energy and Sustainability Solutions, and Industrial Automation business segments powered by Honeywell Forge software.
