Job Description

As an HR Customer Service Representative at BT, you play a crucial role in providing exceptional HR support and guidance to both line managers and employees. Your responsibilities include: - Handling ad-hoc HR related customer queries and requests with a personal touch, even if they fall outside the standard HR Services remit. - Providing clear and compliant HR advice on BT policies, processes, changes, and tools. - Ensuring a brilliant customer experience through care, knowledge, and first contact resolution. - Demonstrating a strong knowledge of HR policies and practices. - Taking proactive initiatives to own and resolve customer queries, meeting key performance indicators and SLAs. - Identifying continuous improvement opportunities to enhance HR efficiencies. - Playing a key role in change management by understanding the need for change and facilitating successful transitions. - Investigating, reporting, and addressing the root cause of service failures. - Exhibiting excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities. - Promoting a shared services model and demonstrating stakeholder management skills. Qualifications and Skills Required: - MBA in HR or equivalent degree for freshers, or 12+ months of experience in HR Operations if not an MBA in HR. - Flexibility with shifts. - Knowledge of Data Protection Act, ICO guidelines, and GDPR. - Strong analytical, issue resolution, and decision-making skills. - Experience in contact centre handling and customer service. - Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes. - Understanding of HR policies and processes. In addition to the core responsibilities, you would be expected to: - Interpret policies, execute decisions, and support changes effectively. - Demonstrate leadership qualities by fostering inclusivity, safety, and trust. - Make decisions that benefit the broader organization and add value to customers and the business. - Show a strong commercial focus and bring an external perspective to decision-making. - Foster a growth mindset and identify opportunities for personal and organizational growth. - Build diverse, future-ready teams to maximize individual potential.
