Role Description – Admissions Counsellor This is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi for an Admissions Counsellor . The Admissions Counsellor will play a key role in guiding prospective students through their learning journey — from inquiry to enrollment. This position involves understanding student aspirations, providing program guidance, and helping individuals choose the right upskilling path in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and related domains. The role requires a consultative approach to student engagement, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in helping learners achieve their career goals. The ideal candidate will combine empathy with strategic thinking to drive admissions growth and enhance the learner experience. Responsibilities: Engage with prospective students via calls, emails, and meetings to understand their career goals and program interests. Provide accurate information about CognitiaX AI’s programs, curriculum, and learning outcomes. Counsel students on course selection, admission procedures, and career opportunities. Meet and exceed enrollment targets through structured follow-ups and relationship management. Collaborate with marketing and academic teams to align admission strategies with institutional goals. Maintain detailed records of student interactions and progress in CRM systems. Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for guiding and mentoring individuals. Experience in counselling, student advisory, or education sales/admissions roles preferred. Solid understanding of educational sales, lead management, and consultative selling techniques. Interest or basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or emerging technologies is an asset. Proven ability to achieve or exceed admission/enrollment targets. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field . Prior experience in EdTech or academic counselling is desirable.
