If you have the expertise and passion for vessel/barge maintenance, shipyard operations, and marine equipment servicing, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities : Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of engines, generators, motors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, switchgear, and control panels. Hull maintenance services of marine vessels/barges and offshore structures. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical failures and implement solutions. Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and electrical systems. Conduct daily/periodic inspections of equipment optimize to avoid future breakdown. Compliance Safety: Ensure adherence to ISO, HSE, and marine industry standards for all engineering activities. Implement safety procedures and conduct risk assessments before executing maintenance tasks. Participate in safety drills and ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations. Reporting Coordination : Prepare maintenance and repair reports, documenting all work carried out. Work closely with marine operations, logistics, and project management teams. Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of design reading, production work execution, barge propulsion systems, marine engines, generators, winches, and deck machinery as per provided design. Expertise in hydraulic pneumatic systems used in marine applications. Proficiency in electrical circuits, switchgear, automation, and control panels for barge operations. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of mechanical and electrical components. Knowledge of marine safety protocols, classification society regulations, and maritime standards Familiarity with fuel management, ballast systems, and auxiliary machinery used in barge/vessel operations.
