Job Description

Job Description – CNC cum VMC Operator (Fanuc Control)
Location: Fabritek Equipments Pvt.Ltd Chakan Unit

Position: CNC cum VMC Operator
Experience Required: 2–3 Years
Control System: Fanuc
Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC and VMC machines efficiently as per daily production requirements.
Set up tools, fixtures, offsets, and parameters as required for machining operations.
Interpret engineering drawings and machining process sheets.
Perform program editing and minor modifications on Fanuc control system.
Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure product quality as per specifications.
Perform routine machine maintenance, tool life monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Follow safety standards and maintain shop floor discipline and 5S.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hands-on experience on Fanuc control CNC & VMC machines.
Strong knowledge of tool selection, job setting, and machining parameters.
Understanding of measuring instruments — Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, bore dial, etc.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings & GD&T.
Knowledge of machining materials and cutting speeds/feed.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Machinist or related field.

Salary

As per industry standards & based on experience.
